Susan joined Welby, Stoltenberg, Cimballa & Cook, LLC, Pittsburgh office as an Associate in December 2018. She has represented police and correctional officers in bargaining units across the Commonwealth. She has represented clients before the Workers Compensation Bureau, Workers Compensation Appeal Board, and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, and additionally in arbitration hearings in employee discipline cases.
 
Attorney Pickup graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Administration with minors in Business and Psychology. She graduated from Duquesne University School of Law with her Juris Doctorate.
 
Her previous experiences during law school include working in the government sector with Pennsylvania Senator Jay Costa and the health care sector at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Legal Department. During law school, she also worked at the firm Mansmann and Moore LLP, assisting in social security disability cases as well as workers’ compensation cases.
 
Her professional affiliations include the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Allegheny County Bar Association, and the National Association of Women Lawyers.
