Attorney Stoltenberg is a 1991 graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania and a 1995 graduate of Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he served as a member and internal editor of the law review. His father, the late Carl F. Stoltenberg, was a well respected labor arbitrator who heard and decided numerous interest and grievance arbitration matters in both the public and private sector. After working with his father, Attorney Stoltenberg joined Lightman Law Offices and began his legal career representing law enforcement officers and other public sector employees in all aspects of the employment relationship, specializing in collective bargaining and interest arbitration, grievances, unfair labor practice proceedings and representation issues before the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board, pensions and retirement issues, disability litigation under the Workers’ Compensation and Heart and Lung Acts, and various types of civil litigation.
Attorney Stoltenberg has substantial appellate court experience, having argued numerous cases before the both the Commonwealth Court and Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts as well as the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
