Collective Bargaining and Interest Arbitration

Collective Bargaining and Interest Arbitration

Our practice is limited to representing public sector labor groups; predominantly police officers, deputy sheriffs, corrections officers, probation officers, firefighters, assistant district attorney and public defenders and other court related employees. These public sector clients are organized and operate under either Act 111 of 1968 or the Public Employe Relations Act. These statutes impose strict timelines for the initiation of collective bargaining, mediation and delivering a demand for arbitration. It is imperative to understand and plan for meeting these time tables. Our staff has the knowledge and experience to guide clients through those statutory requirements, to represent their interests during negotiations and to fight for fair wages and benefits in interest arbitration when negotiations reach an impasse.
